Get to Know Your Team:

  • Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology.
  • The Director of Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) is a Licensed Dietician (LD) with twenty-four hour responsibility for the FANS Department within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of the organization.
  • The Director of FANS is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department and executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • The Director of FANS provides leadership and mentorship in the development of staff.
  • The Director of FANS is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality, patient satisfaction (dietetics) and employee satisfaction outcomes to implement strategies for improvement.
  • Responsible for overall administrative, financial and clinical activities of assigned departments.
  • The Director is a LD that performs a variety of specialized duties related to the receipt, interpretation and implementation of patient diet orders.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietary or Nutrition
  • Oklahoma State Board Licensed Dietitian
    • Or eligibility (under the supervision of a system LD) with alternate state license
  • At least one year of experience as a Licensed Dietitian and/or Registered Dietitian

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD)
  • At least one year of leadership experience in a hospital
