What we do and how we do it

The Hallmark Visitors Center (HVC) is a free exhibit space that shares the rich history and heartfelt mission of the Hallmark company. Next door is Kaleidoscope, a free hands-on art-making space for kids ages 5 - 12. Together, the two sites embody Hallmark's commitment to helping people connect, communicate, and create.

As a Guest Experience Assistant at the Hallmark Visitors Center and Kaleidoscope, you'll bring our story and creativity to life. You'll ensure every guest enjoys a memorable, high-quality experience that inspires them to engage with the Hallmark brand in fresh, meaningful, and delightful ways.

You'll also play a key role behind the scenes, helping create and expand engagement opportunities for guests, including the public, Hallmark employee groups, and our consumers. You'll support the Hallmark Visitors Center's exhibits, programs, and events, incorporating visitor feedback and leveraging insights about the company to best serve our audience.

This is a full-time, Tuesday-Saturday position, ideal for someone who thrives in people-centered environments, loves storytelling through in-person experiences, and enjoys blending creativity with organization to support our team and make every visitor feel inspired and connected.

  • Assist with tours, special programs, and employee events and receptions across both sites, as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, always with a positive, friendly attitude and a strong commitment to Hallmark's values of care and integrity.

Visitor Engagement & Services (25 - 30% of role):

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for all aspects of the guest experience at both the Hallmark Visitors Center and Kaleidoscope, acting as a museum experience expert to enhance visitor engagement.
  • Work closely with the HVC internal team and collaborate with external partners such as Archives, Crown Center, and other related Hallmark departments as directed.
  • Collaborate and contribute to HVC social media by creating timely, relevant, and on-brand posts that reflect our mission and engage audiences.
  • Develop compelling content and curate interactive experiences that capture the spirit of each focal area-whether celebrating creativity, showcasing production processes, sharing behind-the-scenes brand moments, or highlighting Hallmark employees who shape our culture.
