Your Opportunity: Jon Michael Design (JMD), a subsidiary of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an Associate Account Manager to play a key role in supporting day-to-day activity across client accounts. This role combines strong organization, communication, and relationship-building skills to help drive creative projects forward while balancing the needs of clients, internal teams, and the agency. The ideal candidate has a collaborative spirit and is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how to manage clients and projects in a fast-paced creative environment.

Your Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm EST
  • Based at our JMD facility located at 525 7th Ave, New York, NY 10018

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, solutions-oriented client service, ensuring a positive and professional experience at every touchpoint
  • Coordinate client projects from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring all stakeholders have the information, assets, and support they need at the right time
  • Assist in writing client proposals, scopes of work, and presentations with guidance from senior account team members
  • Create, maintain, and track internal timelines that align with client deadlines, escalating risks or delays when necessary
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, nurturing strong client relationships and facilitating clear communication between clients and internal teams
  • Capture accurate, detailed notes during meetings and translate them into actionable next steps
  • Organize large volumes of project details, assets, and communication to ensure the creative team is set up for success
  • Partner with creative team to coordinate meetings, gather requirements, develop project materials, and provide day-to-day support
  • Work closely with the creative team to monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Contribute to daily team huddles by sharing project updates, identifying potential blockers, and aligning on priorities
  • Assist administrative tasks such as tracking invoices, setting up vendors, and assisting with IT communication
  • Assist with studio management tasks including managing deliveries, shipping and receiving parcels from client and office tidiness

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in client services, account management, marketing, communications, or a creative/agency environment (internships included)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with project-management tools is a plus
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and contribute ideas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations
  • Interest or experience in sales, client development, or account growth is a plus
  • Strong time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70k - $75k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
