MRR Central Svcs Job Description
The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Access Control Specialist I to lead and oversee the access control function, which includes access authorization program, background screening program, badging operation, and insider threat mitigation. A successful candidate will have subject matter expertise in applicable regulations and compliance requirements for related access and security protocols, including U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other applicable regulations. Key Duties Performed by this Position Will Include: * Analyzing, evaluating, and reporting information developed through background investigations, including criminal and credit history checks; and provide defensible recommendations to the NRC-approved Reviewing Officials for granting, denying, or withdrawing unescorted access and/or access authorization. Must be available for regular and consistent onsite work. Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., variable (to be discussed at interview) Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
