Position Summary:

As an Atos Apprentice - Cybersecurity, you will join our dynamic team to learn and contribute to essential cybersecurity functions. This apprenticeship is designed to develop foundational skills in cybersecurity while working under experienced mentors, providing hands-on experience with security technologies, risk assessment, threat analysis, and compliance. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow in the cybersecurity field, with a commitment to safeguarding digital assets and maintaining data security standards.

This is a paid, 12-month Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) in cybersecurity, potentially leading to a full-time role as a SOC Analyst with Atos upon completion. To successfully complete the program, apprentices must complete 2,000 hours of paid, on-the-job training and meet program requirements over 12 months by achieving the milestones outlined below to be eligible for a full-time position with Atos.

Month 7 Pay: $24.20 at 25-Weeks if milestones achieved.

*On completion of Phase 007 apprentices will transition to Atos' HR and Payroll at a minimum rate of $26.62/HR.

Required Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed either the ActivateWork IT Support and Security Fundamentals course or the TACT Cybersecurity Course. MSU Denver students from cybersecurity are eligible to apply.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+ and or iSC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+.
  • Experience with incident response methodologies and tools, including digital forensics techniques (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM Radar).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for task automation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
