Lafayette Group is seeking qualified and team-oriented individuals to work with federal government organizations in support of national cybersecurity programs. The Cybersecurity Program Analyst works with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate coordination across teams for projects that enhance national operational readiness and deliver tailored cybersecurity guidance. This position works directly with Project Managers and other cleared Program Analysts across the cybersecurity operations lifecycle on coordinating advanced cyber planning and defense capabilities. This role requires a blend of skills and experience with stakeholder engagement, cybersecurity program strategy, and project management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform operational duties such as organizing tasks, tracking progress, gathering information, and ensuring execution of cyber-initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; demonstrate that their needs are heard and understood, and their feedback valued.
  • Implement robust engagement strategies to cultivate effective information sharing, leveraging tools and automations to improve workflows and expedite information flow.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data and user feedback regarding the effectiveness and reach of engagement tools and strategies.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research and analysis in support of projects to identify key themes and trends. Collect and organize project data to support analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Perform project management tasks, including tracking schedules, maintaining action items, and updating project documentation.
  • Gather requirements and develop project artifacts such as workflows, use cases, and process updates under senior guidance.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality products that meet client requirements on schedule and within budget. Support the development of high-quality written work products within and across areas of responsibility, including strategic plans, assessments and reports, presentations, talking points, fact sheets, and white papers.
  • Assist with client engagement and support, including preparing for and leading meetings, facilitating planning and data gathering sessions, and developing recommendations for plans, documents, and reports to support client needs.



Required Skills:

  • Active TS security clearance and SCI eligibility; US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD).
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, stakeholder engagement, communications or related field.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills; diplomatic and an excellent listener.
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to remain open-minded, flexible and curious in problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, both internal and on the client site.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).



Desired Skills

  • Prior consulting or program support experience with DHS, CISA, or other federal cybersecurity organizations.
  • Experience with national-level stakeholder engagement, preferably with a focus on cyber policy and/or defense.
  • Experience with federal compliance requirements and cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework (RMF), with knowledge of government procurement processes and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining excellent communication with project leadership.



Location: Arlington, VA; on-site 3-5 days a week

Salary Range: $75,000-$120,000

New employees are not usually hired at the top of the estimated salary range and salary decisions depend on the circumstances and factors for each case. Salary is only one aspect of LGI's generous total compensation package.

Contingent Hire: This position will be hired contingent upon winning the Federal contract work.
