Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Technical Environmental Services Discipline Lead for the Northeast Environmental Group of environmental engineers, scientists, and cultural resource specialists. The Discipline Lead will be responsible for quality delivery of environmental compliance and permitting for clients across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and New England. Assists with strategic direction, staff development and management, and market share growth.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. The insurance package includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Employees pay a share of Dewberry's premium expenses (on a pre-tax basis) for medical and dental insurance plans.

Both vary based on level within the program and bonuses are dependent upon company and individual performance. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).

In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.



Responsibilities

    Develop staff, quality program, and assist with client communications across clients where Dewberry has environmental term agreements in support of highway and infrastructure designs.
  • Lead projects and act as PIC for delivery of environmental projects.
  • Assist PMs with project planning, best practices and development of SOPs to ensure the efficient delivery of projects that meet client objectives.
  • Share best practices across the environmental community of practice in Dewberry.


Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • At least 25 Years of experience
  • Ability to oversee multimillion-dollar environmental portfolio of projects for clients including NJDOT, NJTA, NJDPMC, NYSDOT, NYCDDC, NJDEP, USACE, and county agencies.
  • Directed NEPA Technical Environmental Studies and environmental documentation (CE, EA and EIS), State and federal permitting, and cultural/biological studies for bridges, highways, and facilities.
  • Possesses long standing relationships with northeast public and private clients and agencies.
  • Built and led cross-disciplinary teams providing regulatory strategies, permitting, and design integration.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $163,625 to $233,750 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
