JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Dr. Timothy Brearly's lab at Penn State College of Medicine is offering a Part-Time Research Support (Software Development) position. This position will provide opportunities to apply and grow computer science skills through the development of data flows and automations required for research and quality improvement. The successful candidate will have familiarity with JavaScript and Python, and an interest in developing solutions that integrate with platforms such as Microsoft 365 and major electronic health records systems (e.g., EPIC). Preference will be given to applicants who have completed, or are currently completing, a degree in computer science or a related field. This position requires careful attention to detail and strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as comfort with asynchronous and videoconference communication.
