Join us as a Global Medical Education Content Development Manager - a field-based role with a global scope. This is your chance to lead transformative educational initiatives that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
What will you be doing?
  • Lead global learning initiatives by designing and delivering innovative educational pathways for shoulder and trauma care.
  • Drive digital transformation through immersive experiences like virtual reality, digital surgery modules, and interactive webinars.
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical education, and commercial teams, as well as global thought leaders, to implement high-impact programs.
  • Develop and apply metrics to measure training effectiveness and adoption for continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, oversee digital product ecosystems, and ensure seamless communication across US and global teams.
  • Partner with key opinion leaders and scientific societies to expand educational reach and maximize product adoption.
What will you need to be successful?
  • 5-8 years of experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine, or healthcare (OR experience preferred); 3+ years in marketing is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Energetic, personable, and driven mindset with a global perspective.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% to connect with surgeons and partners worldwide.

All field professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete the credentialling process and comply with the requirements of those facilities they support, which can include adherence to any establishedvaccineprotocols.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
