Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: ON-Site Sterling Heights, MI Industry: Military Vehicles REQUIRED: BS Mechanical Engineering / 10 plus years work experience Skills: Root Cause / VIS-Mockup / CREO / NX / GD&T / Teamcenter / Welding Design, development, verification, and implementation of components related to Hull and Turret Structures. This functional engineering team supports the entire portfolio of products and programs within GDLS ranging from new technology demonstration to pre-production development and ultimately full-scale vehicle production. Experience executing designs from paper to physical hardware and overseeing their successful integration at the subsystem and system level is required Experience developing structural hardware including technical familiarity with welding techniques and requirements is desired Experience with RCCA methods is required Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing methods is required Familiarity with Teamcenter is desired Must be proficient with CAD modeling techniques.
