Job Title: Security Operations Specialist II.
Location(s): Minneapolis, MN.

Role Overview:

  • Performs a broad range of operational activities supporting complex securities and/or cash-related transactions.
  • The role requires in-depth knowledge of unit-specific functions, workflows, and supporting systems. Responsibilities include transaction processing, reconciliation, issue resolution, and coordination across multiple departments.
  • The position operates with minimal supervision and supports day-to-day processing, risk management, compliance, and system or account maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Differentiate, process, and reconcile complex securities and/or cash transactions.
  • Research and resolve transaction discrepancies, inquiries, and customer complaints.
  • Review and process time-sensitive and complex documentation.
  • Create, update, and maintain departmental procedures and controls.
  • Coordinate issue resolution involving multiple internal departments.
  • Produce department-level reporting using data from multiple sources.
  • Provide training, guidance, or work directions to junior staff as needed.
  • Serve as backup support for other operational desks or functions.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform maintenance and setup activities related to accounts, systems, or processes.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer service, operations, financial services, or business processing.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
