Schedule

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Position Summary

MaineHealth is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to support our Pediatrics practice in Biddeford. The PSS serves as a key point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality experience throughout the visit process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and families in a pediatric setting
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, and registration information
• Handle phone calls, messages, and front-desk inquiries
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
