Position Highlights:

  • Comprehensive, community based, out-patient multispecialty practice that offers chemotherapy services in our on-site infusion center
  • Established team of 7 physicians and 2 APC's
  • Opportunity to participate in innovative clinical trials, many of which have already contributed to FDA approval of multiple lifesaving treatments
  • No overnight or weekend call/hours required
  • Per-Diem opportunity
  • Patient visit hours in general will be from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM but are flexible
  • Exceptionally strong referral base

Primary Responsibilities:

In close coordination with our hematologists and oncologists, your responsibilities will include:

  • Care for patients with a wide variety of both solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
  • Supervising and evaluating patients receiving infusions in our infusion centers
  • Visits with new patients to educate them on treatment side effects and schedules
  • Providing survivorship visits to furnish patients with treatment summaries and educate them on their follow-up recommendations after completion of treatment
  • Follow up office visits with patients on observation or receiving oral therapy
  • Same day visits with patients who call with new complaints during treatment

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
  • Board Certification or board eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $52.88 - $80.05 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
