The Endoscopy Director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical guidance for endoscopic services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. They manage daily operations, staff, budgets, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Joint Commission, ASGE) while fostering collaboration between physicians, nurses, and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
*Clinical Leadership: Overseeing patient care standards, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring safety and quality.
*Operational Management: Managing daily operations, scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance, and supply chains to optimize workflow.
*Strategic Planning: Defining the vision for endoscopy services, including facility design and service line expansion.
*Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, Joint Commission).
*Team Development: Mentoring staff, including nurses and technicians, and collaborating with physicians and administrators.

Education
Master's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
-Registered Nurse required

-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

-American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]

Experience
Endoscopy Nursing management 3-5 years required
