The Endoscopy Director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical guidance for endoscopic services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. They manage daily operations, staff, budgets, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Joint Commission, ASGE) while fostering collaboration between physicians, nurses, and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities *Clinical Leadership: Overseeing patient care standards, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring safety and quality. *Operational Management: Managing daily operations, scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance, and supply chains to optimize workflow. *Strategic Planning: Defining the vision for endoscopy services, including facility design and service line expansion. *Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, Joint Commission). *Team Development: Mentoring staff, including nurses and technicians, and collaborating with physicians and administrators.
