Job Summary

Ensures that Program Management and Commercial Management activities across the Global Civil Aerostructures Business Line are executed in a compliant and best-practice manner by:



  • Establishing, developing, maintaining, and driving adherence to standardized, best-practice methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory governance requirements
  • Additionally, provides decision-support insights and contributes to building a mature Program Management and Commercial (PM&C) organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides functional leadership and guidance to Program Management & Commercial (PM&C) teams across the global Civil Aerostructures business by:
  • Defining and deploying best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in PM&C activities.
  • Driving adherence to standards and governance through the development and embedding of robust processes.
  • Offering professional support, coaching, and functional guidance to PM&C staff worldwide to enable their success.
  • Supporting the Talent Review process from a PM&C perspective to ensure the right resources, skills, and capabilities are in place to deliver functional and business strategies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement effective tools and templates that enhance PM&C processes.
  • Identifying training needs and overseeing deployment of relevant courses across the global Civil Aerostructures business.
  • Maintaining accessibility to a centralized knowledge base for program management, commercial practices, and compliance risk management.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • Proficient and experienced in GKN Aerospace program and commercial processes, standards, and best practices
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train team members to build capability and confidence
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Proven experience in influencing and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experienced in leading within a matrix organization, with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and empower teams
  • Certified to IPMA Level C or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in commercial roles, including contract management, proposal management, business modelling, and estimating
  • Demonstrated success in managing significant programs or large teams at both tactical and strategic levels
