As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as per site-specific procedures.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at designated access control points.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report on security-related matters.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and client policies.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with the implementation of evacuation and/or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
