What this job involves:As JLL's Workplace Ambassador, you'll serve as the cornerstone of our office environment, creating exceptional first impressions and fostering a welcoming, professional atmosphere for clients, visitors, and employees. This full-time, on-site position combines front desk excellence with comprehensive workplace support, ensuring seamless daily operations while enhancing the overall workplace experience. Your role directly contributes to JLL's reputation for outstanding client service and operational excellence by managing guest experiences, coordinating workplace amenities, and supporting cross-departmental initiatives that drive employee engagement and satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like:* Provide comprehensive front desk coverage during business hours, greeting visitors and staff with professionalism while managing guest registration and security compliance * Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, packages, and deliveries while processing outgoing shipments through various carriers and tracking systems * Monitor and maintain workplace amenities including office supplies, breakroom inventory, snack distribution, and common area presentation standards * Submit and track facility work orders using building management systems, coordinating repairs and maintenance with vendors and internal teams * Support administrative functions including conference room booking, meeting space preparation, badge management, and basic clerical tasks * Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications, including event logistics and office-wide announcements * Serve as primary point of contact for general workplace inquiries, providing guidance and escalating complex matters to appropriate departments Required Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent with proven customer service experience in front desk operations or administrative support roles * Work order system experience, preferably with Corrigo or similar facility management platforms * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain professional, friendly demeanor in all interactions * Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and capacity to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments * Proficiency in workplace technology including Microsoft Outlook, Google Workspace, Slack, and building management software * Physical ability to handle packages, maintain supply inventory, and perform general office maintenance tasks * Demonstrated reliability with consistent attendance and ability to work independently while supporting team objectives Preferred Qualifications:* Previous experience in corporate reception, office management, or workplace services within professional environments * Familiarity with visitor management systems, security protocols, and access control procedures * Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS procedures * Experience supporting employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives * Understanding of office supply management, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination * Background in administrative support including filing systems, meeting coordination, and executive assistance * Knowledge of local business resources including vendors, restaurants, and service providers for workplace support needs Location: Los Angeles, CA Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Estimated compensation for this position is: $28 -$35 /hour The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data Estimated compensation for this position: 60,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
