This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Sales Manager,Automotive Robotics OEM,US

In this role, you willbe responsible fortheUSRobotics Automotivebusinessline order pipelineandgrowingABB market sharein Automotive Robotics, US. The overall responsibility is to generate and follow up on robot and robot systemsleadsand develop ABB's business with end customers for robotic products and systems. Position requires the ability to travel 70%+ of the time during a typical workweek.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
  • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.
  • Defining sales targets, giving input on market pricedevelopmentsmonitoring competitors' activity with theaccountand ensuring thatappropriate responsestrategies are implemented.
  • Submittingcomplete andaccurateproposal and forecast information within Salesforce

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree PLUS minimum 4 years sales experience OR Associate's degree PLUS minimum 6 years sales experience OR High School diploma/GED PLUS minimum 8 years' sales experience
  • Previous Automotive industry experience; experience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applications
  • Ability to create and develop relationships with new customers; Salesforce knowledge preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 70% weekly
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that would allow them to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
