Data Center Team Lead - Several shifts available. Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday \| 6 PM - 6 AM Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday off 6AM - 6PM or 6PM to 6AM Location: Onsite in Mt. Pleasant, WI About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Data Center Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading technical teams. In this role, you'll not only manage day-to-day operations but also mentor team members, oversee project builds, and ensure everything runs smoothly in a hyperscale data center environment. If you have strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a passion for problem-solving, this could be the perfect fit for you. What You'll Do * Lead and support deployment and operational teams. * Act as the go-to escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians. * Oversee server installations, cabling, and GPU deployments. * Troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced ticket resolution. * Coordinate project builds, review documentation, and ensure compliance with standards. * Mentor team members and guide training paths. * Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining safety and quality. * Collaborate with other teams to keep projects on track and aligned with data center standards. What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a technical lead with people management skills. * 4+ years in a hyperscale data center environment. * Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server hardware, and GPU deployments. * Project management experience (certification is a plus). * Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a dynamic schedule. * Comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs, climbing ladders, and wearing PPE. * Familiarity with ITIL processes, structured cabling, and troubleshooting. Preferred Skills & Certifications * CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT (or equivalent experience). * CCNA preferred. * Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus. * Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash). * OSHA30 or higher certification. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49.50 - $49.50/hr.
