As a Security Guard - Armed Government Site Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible and reassuring presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and interact with others to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or residents in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
