Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with clients and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for financial institution operations.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with site personnel and/or visitors in a professional manner while addressing security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
