As a Security Guard - CRE Patrol Specialist in Downtown Manhattan, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by assisting during emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any suspicious behavior or conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal supervisors regarding incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with the implementation of emergency procedures, including evacuation or lockdown protocols, as directed by site management and Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
