We are seeking a Clinical workflow Specialist to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based out of the United States.
Job Summary
The Clinical Workflow Specialist is responsible for bridging the gap between clinical and IT personnel at healthcare organizations. This role is specifically focused on clinical workflows and will provide consultative advice on applicable healthcare related regulations. Working with the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer and the Global Team, you will apply clinical workflow expertise to support other Imprivata departments. This may include sales, marketing, product management, executive team, support, services, and engineering. These activities could encompass research and development, go-to-market strategy, sales activities, customer satisfaction and engagement, and other daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bridge the gap between clinical and IT personnel through on-site visits, telephone conversations, virtual platform conferences and electronic mail.
  • Maintain professional knowledge of relevant federal, state, and organizational (DEA, FDA, Department of Health, Boards of Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, and The Joint Commission/TJC) regulations relating to controlled substance management and diversion activities.
  • In a healthcare setting, familiarity with the clinical processes associated with monitoring-controlled substance handling and the audits for compliance.
  • Assist with the design, implementation, deployment, service and support of Imprivata technology products with a primary focus on optimizing clinical workflows with the support of training materials and resources provided by Imprivata.
  • Attend or assist presentations at appropriate information technology or medical trade shows, conferences, and forums.
  • Establish solid relationships with the key people in the assigned accounts and with all territory team members.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at various hospitals and other locations as needed on average of three days per week. Experiences will include interfacing with both IT and clinical leadership and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications:

  • A nursing diploma/degree is preferred, or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Expertise in clinical workflows and credibility in the clinical setting.
  • 3+ years' experience in major acute care hospital, hospital technology and ambulatory settings. (Inpatient floors, intensive care units, emergency departments, operating room, anesthesia, labor and delivery, radiology, and outpatient/ambulatory settings.)
  • Ability to translate clinical workflow terminology and processes into laymen's terms.
  • Exemplary communication skills and the ability to network with customers, prospects, business partners, and members of the Imprivata team.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a globally directed manner.
  • Familiarity with current healthcare policy and regulations.
  • Familiarity with product management and the software development life cycle is preferred but not necessary.

This position offers a salary range of $86,800.00 to $141,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
