In-coming Inspector

Location: Framingham MA (onsite)

Rate: $35-38 an hour W2

Description:

Experienced Inspector with strong use in CMM, verniers, calipers and gauges to inspect precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace components.
  • Use precision measuring instruments-including verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other specialty tools-to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to perform detailed dimensional inspections and generate accurate inspection reports.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
  • Document inspection results, complete inspection reports, and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify nonconforming parts and work with Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all inspections meet AS9100, ISO, customer, and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized inspection area and ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Quality department.


Qualifications:



  • Experience inspecting aerospace, precision machining, or high-tolerance components.
  • Proficiency with verniers, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CMM operation (manual or programmed).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or similar aerospace quality systems (preferred).



The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
