Job Description




As a Security Officer - Access Control Banking Driver in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming experience for all visitors and employees. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will play a key role in responding quickly across various site areas. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs of access control activities and report any irregularities or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or site supervision.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and guidance as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities at the location, coordinating with site personnel and first responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter areas to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any hazards or maintenance needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
