As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrols in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for employees, clients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual circumstances or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
