Security Officer - Parking Garage Full Time

As a Security Officer - Parking Garage in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a parking lot location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter potential incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
• Monitor and report irregularities such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual activities within the area.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Provide support during emergencies and coordinate with Allied Universal management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
