Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driving Role in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Your role involves interacting with visitors, patients, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter inappropriate activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the enforcement of access control procedures and visitor guidelines to help to maintain a secure environment.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal training.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Vaccines are required for hospital settings.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
