Role Summary As part of TxB's global First line of Defense Risk team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with Sales, Product, Operations, Engineering and firm-wide credit risk team to manage and mitigate settlement risks in payment transactions. The role will involve credit assessment, limit set up, portfolio management and risk reporting to senior management and to federation partners. It will also involve solutioning for clients with specific needs. We are looking for someone with lots of energy that has excellent communication skills, credit risk knowledge, enjoys product and engineering challenges, and can operate in a highly fluid, rapidly changing environment. - Engage with Sales and Client Implementation teams to determine credit requirements for new clients
- Liaise with second line Credit Risk team and other firm federation partners for credit evaluation and calibration of settlement line sizes; work with Legal for contracts negotiations
- Manage a growing portfolio of clients and settlement lines
- Design and own risk models for payment returns, exchange rate changes, etc.
- Provide oversight for policies and procedures, manage processes and risk controls and conduct reviews and reporting
- Assist with credit risk related audits and exams conducted by internal/external auditors and regulators
- Update and maintain documentation for team processes and best practices; develop and improvise MISs and performance dashboards
- Identify, create, and refine necessary KPI's to define success and track progress, developing a strong set of outcome-based metrics
- Establish trusted partnerships with peers, functional leads, and executive level stakeholders
- Manage ongoing and detailed project plans to drive key deliverables to completion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related quantitative field
- 4-8 years of direct experience in credit risk in payments space, including the extension of payment settlement lines
- Solid understanding of credit risk principles, including exposure measurement, limit management, and risk mitigation techniques
- Well versed in various transaction banking products and services, such as Payments and Liquidity Products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven, while working in a time sensitive environment, capable of using data and critical thinking to make real-time decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
