Our Senior Product Manager is responsible for the analysis, planning, and management of assigned product line, identifying opportunities for product enhancements or new product development within our Health Plan Business line. They will interfaces with both internal and external customers to understand market needs and translate them into strategic business opportunities for the Health Plan in the Senior/Medicare markets. This Senior Product Manager leads the full product lifecycle, from concept and feasibility to development, launch, and performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with the Health Plan's goals. Collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams, they drive the development and ongoing management of market-driven products and services, ensuring feasibility and meeting market requirements.
Salary Range
$120,000 ~ $150,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Hybrid Work
Employees living within 45 miles of WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI, 53713) will be expected to be able to be able to work Hybrid 2 days a week on a regular basis. Onsite work will be tailored for team cohesion, strategy, planning and collaboration.

- Have supported digital engagement by maintaining knowledge of marketing strategies, including mobile applications and social media.
- Can maintain ongoing competency in product management practices and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7 or more years of progressive product management experience.
- 7 or more year of market and competitive analysis within the health insurance or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance products, plans, and services, including individual and group health plans, Medicare.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams to launch and manage products in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks within the health insurance space (i.e., HIPAA, ACA, ERISA).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience building strong, key stakeholder relationships to work effectively together to deliver successful outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate data and information into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 or more years of progressive product management experience.
- Experience transforming healthcare market options through technical innovation focused on customer experience.
