We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Virtual Sales Manager in our Engagement Center.

The Engagement Center Virtual Sales Manager is responsible for developing and leading Engagement Center staff through virtual sales and support initiatives. The role serves as a champion for maximum productivity and quality control for all customers and products provided.

  • Supervise virtual team and support activities to ensure team meets client's strategies and objectives inclusive of achieving performance forecasts and meeting risk metrics
  • Responsible for coaching, providing feedback and performance management to help meet key KPI's and revenue goals
  • Analyze team trends or patterns to identify areas of improvement and implement a plan to effectively drive productivity and sales
  • Provide guidance to virtual representatives to assist with customer service and problem-solving skills with staff and HCPs
  • Work with compliance to keep abreast of the regulations, state requirements, and other factors that affect the day-to-day activities of the team
  • Ensure compliant adherence to Syneos and client policies and procedures
  • Review SLAs and ensure they are maintained in accordance with contractual obligations
  • Responsible for managing timely expense reporting, managing meal spend and for monitoring PTO
  • Works with direct supervisor to manage budget, cost, invoices, and project financial results
  • Responsible for working with recruiting to fill in vacancies, identify top talent, and in managing team turnover
  • Responsible for interviewing, onboarding, and ensuring timely completion of assignments per contract business rules
  • Works with direct supervisor to modify IC plan design/changes and ensure accurate quarterly IC calibration
  • Develop a structured, repeatable, and regular communication plan for weekly team meetings to ensure execution of organizational goals, strategies, progresses, competitive issues, and ongoing training
  • Keep management informed of individual and team performance in addition to insights and solutions
  • Recognize when and what information should be communicated to external stakeholders to ensure we create a positive value narrative in support of Syneos services
  • Responsible for strategic account management and execution of business meetings
  • Create a winning collaborative team culture that rewards accomplishments and encourages the advancement and retention of productive employees
  • Leverage business relationships to generate positive feedback from business partners and convey mutual value to all internal and external stakeholders while helping to resolve complex issues as needed
  • Collaborate with the AM and the Analytics and Reporting team to identify, formulate and provide directional guidance to help with the long-term growth of the program
  • Collaborate with appropriate key stakeholders as opportunities arise
  • Lead with a growth mindset with the ability to be strategic and solution oriented
  • Identify potential leads and act as a conduit for Business Development

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • 5+ years of B2B or Pharmaceutical Sales experience (Virtual/Inside sales experience is a major plus)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferably in a virtual sales environment
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience with pharmaceutical/medical call center environment
  • Experience leading specialty or rare disease teams, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Experience managing complex and demanding client relationships, demonstrating resilience and professionalism while delivering exceptional service
  • Experience engaging in high-level strategic and scientifically informed discussions with clients and internal stakeholders to drive alignment and influence decision-making
  • Strong leadership skills, business acumen skills, decision making skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively coach and motivate a team to meet expectations and achieve goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, GoToMeeting, and other sales and marketing automation tools
