Internship Administrative Assistant (Irondequoit Campus)


St. Ann's community is looking for an internship administrative assistant for our department of Organizational development. The Internship Administrative Assistant for St. Ann's Community will provide administrative support to the Internship Coordinator. The Internship Administrative Assistant will assist in the planning, tracking, admission, and enrollment of interns within the Organization. The position ensures that requirements for compliance are met; facilitates the management of special projects/programs; and foundational to the position is being a positive role model for professional behaviors.



St. Ann's Community Offers:


* Pay range - $21.50 - $26.50/hour

Job Description:



  • Assists the coordinator with the development of an internal education program for continuing education needs and requirements
  • Working with the Coordinator facilitates development, implementation and evaluation of special-topic education programs
  • Assists the Coordinator in reviewing, evaluating and reporting on continuing education programs
  • Ensures compliance with documentation for all internship activities
  • Working with the Coordinator, facilitates education by outside vendors on an as needed basis
  • Acts as a liaison to other departments regarding continuing education inquiries
  • Drives continuous process improvement through initiative and innovation
  • Acting as a liaison between the Coordinator and the school district.
  • Responsible for ordering capital items and supplies as requested by the coordinator
  • Working with the coordinator, actively participates in budget preparation and manages department accounts receivable/payable
  • Make conference room reservations as requested, specifying furniture and equipment set up as well as managing catering needs
  • Maintains confidentiality of information
  • Prepare financial transactions for director's approval and signature
  • Produce designated education completion reports by tracking, researching, compiling and typing information
  • Coordinate special projects as requested
  • Maintain BAAs and clinical affiliations for schools
  • Coordinate clinical placement for students



Candidate Requirements:



  • Associates Degree in related field
  • 2-5 years of office management experience
