We're looking for an experienced AVP, Senior Loan Operations Officer to join our team in Santa Rosa. In this key role, you'll use your deep knowledge of loan servicing and documentation to drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the department.
You'll act as the go-to resource for our Loan Operations team - providing expertise, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with leadership to deliver operational excellence. What You'll Do
- Serve as the lead resource for Loan Operations Specialists I-III on new loans, renewals, and modifications using Laser Pro (primarily commercial).
- Manage and ensure timely completion of SBA 1502 reporting and SBA 7a monitoring via CAFS.
- Oversee all SBA and Guidehouse communications, including SBA 7a payoffs.
- Coordinate Rocket Mortgage/Quicken processes and annual audits.
- Collaborate with other banks on mortgage pool purchases.
- Handle monthly and quarterly pledging.
- Research and process subpoenas in coordination with Legal Counsel, Special Assets, and Central Operations.
- Lead and support internal and external Loan Operations audits and regulatory exams (Compliance, Fair Lending, FRB, FHLB, and Mortgage Pools).
- Perform Flood Insurance audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-level operational issues.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of banking experience in Loan Operations.
- 2+ years in loan documentation (commercial preferred) with Laser Pro proficiency.
- Strong understanding of complex entity structures as they relate to loan documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented demeanor.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
