Overview

Shared responsibility for daily administration of all employee benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability, flexible spending account plans, voluntary benefits and the CM Retirement Plans. Answers employees' ques

New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.



Responsibilities

    Assists employees with questions and concerns on eligibility, cost of coverage, interpretation of Explanation of Benefit (EOB) forms, provider bills, plan provisions and federal regulations governing benefit plans. Helps solve claims processing errors or
  • Approves benefit enrollments and changes to benefit coverage. Sends eligibility files to outside vendors on an ongoing basis. When eligibility ends, cancels benefit coverage and notifies appropriate outside vendors when appropriate.
  • Maintain relationship with vendor to support the CM benefit plan design and efficient use of the benefit for our employees. Reconciles employee withholdings and employer contributions. Reconciles all other monthly benefit bills (including voluntary benefi
  • Maintains other benefit records and inventory of necessary information needed to support benefit plans.
  • Participates in Annual Enrollment project each year; may include scheduling planning, and supporting while educating employees.


Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience in Human Resources or employee benefits

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $24.31/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
