Job Summary

The AR Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations, analyzing credit information, and assigning credit limits to customers. They will monitor and manage a portfolio of credit accounts, ensuring timely payment of invoices, identifying potential risks, and taking corrective actions as needed as well as performing other duties assigned by management.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess customer's credit worthiness.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with established credit limits.
  • Master data account maintenance and clean-up.
  • Ensure all credit files include proper documentation including agency reports and credit applications.
  • Monitor customer accounts for past due balances and potential issues.
  • Follow up with customers regarding past due payments and work to collect outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoice payments.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships for timely collections.
  • Reconcile incoming payments and customer accounts.
  • Prepare and send invoices to customer accounts.
  • Assist with audit requests.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.


Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications



  • 5+ years' experience of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Research and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Irvine, CA office.


Compensation:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $28/hr - $35/hr plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Education

Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business administration or related field required Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
