Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. You will manage access control, monitor badge activity, and provide exceptional customer service at the main entry point. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor registration to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk, serving as a point of contact for inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Document observations and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
