As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Tech Campus in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-driven environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting first responders and/or site management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as suspicious activities or security-related hazards, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as outlined in site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols and communicating with site staff and/or emergency personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
