As a Security Officer - Access Control Hotels in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, managing access badges, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor access points at the location to help control entry and exit, verifying identification and permissions for all individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting all relevant details as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel and resort property, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual observations.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols, coordinating with site management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, staff, and management regarding security-related matters.
• Complete all required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner, following Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
