As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol in Ashland, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence throughout the location. You will engage with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and any restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances as per Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with client personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Stay alert to potential security-related risks or hazards, adapting to the dynamic environment typically found in technology, media, and telecommunications settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
