What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials and managing entry to the location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to observe for security-related concerns or incidents.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise.
• Follow site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Provide professional customer service to all persons at the location, addressing inquiries and reporting concerns as appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance issues according to established guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
