Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Rock Tavern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to technology, media, and telecommunications environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual behaviors or conditions, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
