What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgement to address the situation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized access.
• Remain alert to unusual activity or potential threats within the location and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with store staff and management to support a secure environment for employees and shoppers.
• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and logs as required by site protocol.
• Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those related to the handling of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
