As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Officer in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated healthcare locations to help create a secure environment for everyone. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver excellent customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and patients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills while adhering to healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuation and/or medical emergencies when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors to provide information and directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
