Security Officer - Utilities Access Control

As a Security Officer - Utilities Access Control in Bowling Green, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry and exit points at a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to assist with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with site-specific processes.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and observe for irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports in accordance with company and site policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Operate security-related systems and technology to monitor the premises and report anomalies.
• Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to maintain order and support the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
