Security Officer - Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in SEDALIA, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or incidents.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring for compliance with site requirements.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, such as guiding individuals to designated areas or assisting first responders.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
