As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for the facility. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating professionally with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings while on patrol, especially within utility-related locations, and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues.
• Support Allied Universal's mission by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with any security-related needs as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
