As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and strong communication skills will support a positive environment for clients and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and adherence to company driver policy requirements, as you may be responsible for driving during your shift. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support site policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting clients, visitors, and/or employees with security-related questions and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with company procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during any incidents or drills as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
