As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control and badge procedures. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, responding to alarms, and providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control at the entrance, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Assist with visitor management, including registration and issuing of visitor badges as per location protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting occurrences as required.
• Communicate and coordinate with onsite personnel and Allied Universal management for any security-related concerns or emergencies.
• Support the enforcement of location policies regarding authorized entry and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while managing inquiries and requests from employees and/or visitors.
• Stay informed about security-related procedures and updates relevant to the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
