As a Front Desk Security Professional at a prominent financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with access control and monitoring visitor activity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required for entry to support a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents encountered while on post.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by client protocols and Allied Universal leadership.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries or direct them as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies to help to deter unauthorized activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Provide one of the following: a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate's degree or at least 60 completed college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
