As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer, where you'll monitor and patrol key areas within a financial institution setting. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on site.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner as part of routine security-related operations.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related standards for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
